Invest in US shares

Take your pick from thousands of companies and funds listed on the Nasdaq, New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), and Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE).

US companies and funds

This is only a fraction of the companies and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) you can invest in.

Why invest in US shares?

  • Huge market

The exchanges in the US have the biggest market capitalisation (total value of shares that can be traded) in the world.

  • Diversification

A diversified portfolio might include investments in a range of different companies, sectors, and countries. US exchanges give you a huge variety to choose from.

  • Global access

Many multinational companies take advantage of the scale of US stock exchanges.

Buy shares on three US exchanges

Pick your favourite companies and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) from the three largest stock exchanges in the United States.

Nasdaq

The Nasdaq mainly trades companies related to digital technology, as well as things like financial, consumer, biotech, and industrial companies. Apple, Amazon, Netflix, and Tesla all trade on this exchange.

New York Stock Exchange

Located on Wall Street in Manhattan, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is the largest stock exchange in the world by market capitalisation. Many of the oldest publicly traded US companies are on this exchange.

Chicago Board Options Exchange

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) is the second largest US equities operator. Investment options include exchange-traded funds (ETFs) covering areas like social media.
